Whose name was Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme. Later, the BJP government changed the name of this scheme to Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana. In this scheme, the government gives packages to hospitals. So that citizens can be provided benefits of health services. There is a dispute going on between the state government and private hospitals regarding the package for a long time. Now speculations are being made regarding this. The government can increase the amount of hospital package under Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya Yojana.
These people get benefits
Under the Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Yojana of the Rajasthan Government, all the people of the state get a chance to get free treatment. Under this scheme, citizens get health insurance up to Rs 25 lakh. So, accidental insurance up to Rs 10 lakh is available. Under the scheme, destitute and helpless families receiving ex-gratia amount due to National Food Security, Socio-Economic Census-2011, small and marginal farmers, contract workers, Covid-19 do not have to pay any fee. The government bears their expenses. Apart from these people, those who want to avail benefits under the scheme have to pay a premium of Rs 850.
